“McCollum, Bennett, Shabazz Muhammad, Steven Adams are all possibilities here. Ditto for Carter-Williams … however, after his second workout there, McCollum’s name is beginning to surface as a potential selection.” – Chad Ford, ESPN.com

“A lot of folks have the Kings taking a point guard with this pick, but that plan should end if Bennett is still available … I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Kings plug Bennett in at small forward and let him compete for Rookie of the Year. If they do end up going point guard, Trey Burke or Michael Carter-Williams would be the pick.” – Steve Alexander, RotoWorld.com

“This pick appears to be coming down to Carter-Williams or Burke. Michigan’s Burke is more polished and perhaps more NBA-ready, but Carter-Williams’ versatility – he could play alongside Jimmer Fredette – and upside could give him an edge with new general manager Pete D’Alessandro, an executive touted for his use of analytics. A source said Shabazz Muhammad had an excellent workout with the Kings earlier this month, so expect him to get some consideration here, too.” – Chris Mannix, SI.com

Who is your favorite prospect in this year’s Draft?

  • Ed

Kings need to go best player and that player is CJ McCollum! The kid can play and could be a Dwayne Wade type of player for the Kings. He is way too underrated and many analysts think he should really be a top 5 pick. Look at the comments the NBA analyst say here on this site…take the best player…CJ McCollum!
