Limited-Edition Divac, Webber T-shirts

In the third of a 3-part launch celebrating 6 of the most revered players in Sacramento Kings history, the Legacy Series concludes with the on-sale of the Divac and Webber T-shirts beginning today at 5 p.m. PDT, exclusively at Kings Team Store.

A central figure during Sacramento’s finest seasons, No. 21 personified teamwork, chemistry and poise. A crafty scorer with an adept offensive repertoire – from his patented up-and-under move to a soft hook shot – Vlade transcended the big-man game as one of its all-time best passers. Precisely threading the needle out of the low block, the Yugoslavia native routinely found a cutting Doug Christie with an over-the-shoulder flip pass or located a wide-open Peja Stojakovic for a baseline triple. The multifaceted All-Star center – who became the ninth player in franchise history to have his number retired – racked up 11.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists per outing over six seasons in Northern California, tallying the second-most triple doubles (four) in the Sacramento-era.

One of the most gifted all-around players of his generation, there was nothing C-Webb couldn’t do on the court. A nightly triple-double threat and perennial MVP candidate, from the moment he donned a Kings uniform, the 6-foot-10 marvel electrified crowds with menacing slams, silky-smooth jumpshots and the passing skills and court vision of a point guard. A ferocious glass-cleaner and breathtaking finisher who epitomized grace and style, the dynamic forward led the Kings to six consecutive Playoff berths and two division titles during his unforgettable Sacramento tenure, averaging a spectacular 23.5 points, 10.6 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.4 blocks per outing. Webber’s name is atop more than a dozen categories in Kings record books, while his No. 4 jersey proudly hangs in the rafters at Sleep Train Arena.
